Yasmeen N. Baig is an associate attorney with Jackson Buckley, LLP, specializing in complex family and matrimonial law. Ms. Baig’s practice includes litigating and negotiating the intricacies of the allocation of parental responsibilities (formerly known as child custody), child relocation matters, domestic violence actions, all facets of child support issues, high income and lifestyle maintenance awards, and the identification, characterization and allocation of complex and high-net-worth marital estates. Ms. Baig possesses a broad range of skills and years of experience, including in legal writing, strategic planning and settlement negotiation, litigation, and appellate work. Ms. Baig works closely with clients to evaluate their interests, set realistic and resolution-oriented goals, and achieve productive outcomes.

Ms. Baig earned her Juris Doctor from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale after receiving her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  During law school, Ms. Baig studied abroad in Ireland. Before entering private practice, Ms. Baig interned with the Illinois Attorney’s General’s Office and community building non-for-profit organizations.  Prior to joining Jackson Buckley, LLP, Ms. Baig was an associate attorney at a family law firm based in Chicago.
